XVIIth CONFERENCE ON EPILEPSY
Polish Society of Epileptology

Łódź, 8-10.05.2003

Dear Colleagues, Ladies and Gentelmen,
I have great honour and pleasure to welcome you, the Participants of XVII Scientific Conference of Polish Epileptology Society on Epilepsy.
In 2003 our annual Conference is taking place in Lodz at the Institute Polish Mother Health Centre. For the organisers it is even more challenging as neurological traditions in our city are rich and go back to the beginning of the 20th century when Józef Brudziński worked here.
The present-day of Lodz neurology is also a series of studies of our colleagues in the range of epileptology.

I am convinced that XVII Scientific Conference onEpilepsy will contribute to futher development of this discipline and will enrich our mutual experience by new scientific ideas You would like to share with us.
